Squid vs Tilapya (St. Peter's fish)

I had a funny conversation with Trisha yesterday.

Trisha: Mommy, what did you eat today?
Me: Squid.
Trisha: Squiiid??!!
Me: Yeah, why?
Trisha: Eeeww, what you just ate is so scary mommy!!!
Me: It is not scary. It's so yummy Trish.
Trisha: It is scary mommy. Lalo na yung head ng squid,eeww (especially the head).
Me: Trish, there is no scary food. All the foods are nice.You must also try how to eat squid sometimes. 
Trisha: Mommy, pwedeng tilapya na lang? (mommy, can i just eat St. Peter's fish?)

Oh well...

I am prone to colds and sore throats. Home remedies like sipping a glass of ginger extract and warm lemon juice  hardly give me relief anymore. The Dad and Mom have a fair share of  the 2 angels' looks, I believe.
Though the dad is claiming that the 2 princesses got 98% of their features from him,majority of our relatives and friends think otherwise.

Getting Girlie

My first born is growing up so fast and I can't seem to catch up.
She is already a first grader. A first grader! hah!
The mommy heart in me  is so slow to absorb it.
It was just yesterday when I cradled her in my arms and sang lullaby s for her so she could go to sleep.
Now , she chooses what she wants to wear , knows how to fix her hair , eats by chopsticks , sends SMS and clicks the " like" button in facebook.
And tomorrow? Lipstick and nail polish and eye shadow and strappy heels and bangles might be all over her room.
Oh baby girl, please don't grow up so fast. I miss your pacifier.
